DESIGN FREEBIE: TWITTER PROFILE PSD

I’ve recently done a little work updating some branding across social media platforms for a client. Twitter, unlike Facebook or LinkedIn, is one of the more customisable platforms. You have a banner image, a custom background (for desktop) as well as choosing a colour for text and link styles. This combination allows for quite an expression of your (client’s) brand on Twitter.

Although you’ll probably design the banner and background separately, I’m the kind of person who likes to see a full composition before hitting that publish button. There’s also the possibility that you’re developing a new brand and want to show how it could be applied across social media.

Whatever the reason, I personally have struggled to find a PSD template (that’s up to date) to easily work with. Rather than complain to the design gods I decided to make this PSD template to use and share it with anyone that will find it useful. It’s well layered and labelled (if I may say so myself) to help quickly change all the elements required. This PSD is only for the desktop layout – but I’m considering doing the same template for tablet and mobile.

Twitter provide information about the sizes of the graphics on their dev documentation site. .

 

 

I’ve recently read about a possible profile redesign from the folks at Twitter, so whenever that happens I’ll be looking to produce and updated version. I hope this helps.
